Nighttime Beauty Routine

It’s finally October!

I can just feel the weather changing. It’s getting cooler, which is soooo nice, but with that extra chill comes dry skin. What fall marks for me are the beginning of more conscious skincare that puts hydration first. I have compiled a list of skin care creams that hydrate your skin, clearing up any dry, flaky skin in a second, as well as a few other products that I can’t live without.

Today’s post is all about discussing the best products to incorporate into your nightly routine!

1.Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser

I recently ordered this product with my Sephora Beauty Insider points, and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with it. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a goat milk cleanser, but the cleanser delivered instant moisturization to my skin. The formula itself is somewhat thicker and creamier than a typical face wash and it smells different too. The scent is a warm vanilla, and vanilla is one of my favorite scents. When I massaged this cleanser into my skin, I immediately noticed how buttery smooth my skin had become. I will definitely be getting this product again!

2.Milk Makeup Urban Defense Mask

Yes, yes, another product by the super cool Milk Makeup. I am OBSESSED with this mask, and I’m not just saying that. To begin, the formula of the mask is a thick, clear gel that instantly turns into a milky liquid when you rinse off at the end of the treatment. After each use, I have tighter, softer and more hydrated skin. I have also noticed that the mask simply makes my skin look more awake after each use. I use this mask about 2-3 times a week, and it has lasted me since June. The mask is $36, but it’s totally worth it when compared to other high-quality masks. I recommend purchasing this ASAP if you’re looking for smooth, soft, and nearly perfect skin.

3.The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner

I am all about using toner nowadays. It hydrates, cleanses, removes leftover makeup, shrinks pores, reduces redness, and balances the overall pH level of your skin. I have been using this specific product since the summer, and I can’t get enough of it! Whether it is summer or fall, this product always gives my skin the hydration and smoothness it desires. I haven’t always used toner, but I can honestly say now that I will never stop. It just gives that extra cleanse and hydration that makes all the difference. The price of this product is also pretty reasonable ($15), especially for how long I have had it. I am on my third month of the same bottle, using it twice a day.The Body Shop also has other toners for more specific skin concerns.

As for my moisturizer, I have been sticking to The True Cream Aqua Bomb by Belif. I explained why I love that product so much a few posts ago, so go check it out if you want to see my review!

As we get closer and closer to winter, remember to stay warm and hydrated!

Until next time,
