The music you listen to in the summer is something you never forget. Whether it’s a long playlist for driving at night with the windows down or the songs you listen to at a bonfire, the music can make the moment. Here is some great new music to listen to this summer:

“Harry’s House” by Harry Styles (Album)

Styles’ latest album dropped May 20, and it is the perfect play for summer parties with friends.

“Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” by Kendrick Lamar (Album)

Kendrick Lamar’s long-awaited fifth studio album contains serious messages about Lamar’s life, but with intricate and stunning beats and vocals. This is another beautiful listen all the way through.

“Bliss” by Yung Lean ft. FKA twigs (Single)

A new take on Yung Lean’s usual rap, this collaboration with the brilliant FKA twigs brings two unmatched powerhouses together for a fun single.

“Melt My Eyez, See Your Future” by Denzel Curry (Album)

An amazing and vulnerable album from rapper Denzel Curry displays just what an interesting and fantastic artist he is. Curry’s versatile songs go from opening up about being a young Black man today to discussing mental health.

“SUPERMODEL” by Måneskin (Single)

The 2021 Eurovision winners are back at it again with an upbeat new single. Another song in all English — as opposed to the band’s native language, Italian — proves Måneskin’s dedication to gaining a more diverse audience.

“The Foundations of Decay” by My Chemical Romance (Single)

Everyone’s favorite emo band is back and better than ever. After splitting up in 2013, MCR decided to unexpectedly return with a thrilling new single that will take you back to your emo phase. The sound is similar to their older music, so OG fans can enjoy a new MCR song on their summer playlist.

“Hotel Lobby” by Quavo & Takeoff (Single)

Featuring two-thirds of Migos, who plan to call themselves Unc and Phew, “Hotel Lobby” has a more unique sound compared to the group’s usual rap songs. However, that only makes this single stand out from the others.

“It’s Almost Dry: Pharrell vs. Ye” by Pusha T (Album)

This album by rapper Pusha T is produced by arguably two of the best producers of all time: Pharrell and Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West. It is a fantastic listen from beginning to end, filled with features from some of the best in the rap game such as Ye, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
