My Favorite Drugstore Makeup Products

I’ll admit that I’m not the best when it comes to makeup. One of the best life lessons I’ve ever learned is that a little mascara goes a long way, and there’s no need to overdo it. Because I’m pretty clueless about the art of makeup, I usually go for simple drugstore products when buying. It’s taken years to figure out which products work best for me, but now that I’ve figured it out, I’m able to buy exactly what I need at a low price.

Skin: Loreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion

I’ve been using this foundation for about a month now, and so far I love it. It is super light, easy to apply, and the perfect middle ground between liquid and powder foundation. Because it is pretty wet, I use a fluffy brush to lightly apply Loreal True Match powder.

Eyes: Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara

I absolutely love mascara and I have naturally long lashes, so all it takes to make a bold eye for me is Maybelline Push Up Drama mascara on my top lashes, and Maybelline Push Up Angel on the bottom lashes. While these two products are very similar, one is much thicker than the other, which is why I prefer the Drama on my upper and Angel on my lower.

When I want to do winged eyeliner, Maybelline Master Precise Curvy liquid eyeliner is my go-to. However, to this day, I have never found a liquid eyeliner that doesn’t rub off onto my eyelids; this one included. Because of this, looking into higher-end brands when it comes to liquid eyeliner would be my advice.

For eyeshadow, my two favorite palettes are Maybelline’s The Nudes and the Blushed Nudes. The regular Nudes palette has mostly neutral matte colors, whereas the Blushed Nudes have a lot of sparkly pinks and lighter shades.

Eyebrows: NYX Sculpt and Highlight

This is the only product I’ll ever need for my brows. I have naturally blonde brows, so I tend not to do anything drastic when filling them in. This product comes in many different shades including blonde, and comes with a highlighter too for a little extra shimmer.
