Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart are no strangers when it comes to discussing their lives on the internet. Arguably “OG” Youtube veterans, Helbig and Hart had a strong fanbase before starting the This Might Get Weird podcast, but they’ve definitely picked up new ones along the way. Labeled as a comedy show with a 4.9 star rating on Apple Podcasts, there’s no doubt that the podcast, started back in late 2018, keeps the two of them popular among millennials and Generation Z alike.
From segments like “Critter Corner” (when they talk about their random forays with animals, wild or tamed, and, most recently, Hart’s backyard possum that she has lovingly named Randy) to telling stories about their day-to-day lives, This Might Get Weird has it all. The light-heartedness of the show makes a great break from the more heavy-hitting podcasts, but it’s entertaining enough to keep listeners engrossed in their stories.
They do talk politics, so some skipping may be necessary to completely avoid political content. Generally, though, their episodes are full of fun, fluffy stories about their daily adventures to help distract from your average life for at least 30 minutes.
